Data Location & Privacy

RTR Registry is a community-run registry and is designed to collect only the information needed to document a vehicle submission responsibly.

Registry data, including owner submissions, moderation records, and uploaded evidence, is currently hosted using U.S.-based infrastructure. This means that information submitted by owners outside the United States, including owners in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and other regions, may be transferred to and stored in the United States.

We treat contact details, and any VIN-related supporting material as private submission data. These items are used for review and moderation purposes only and are not published on public vehicle pages.

Public registry pages are intended to show only owner-approved vehicle information, such as model, year, build details, public photos, broad location where provided, and registry notes. Exact owner contact details, private documents, proof uploads, and exact owner location are not displayed publicly.

Owners can request correction or removal of their submitted information by contacting the registry team.
